Dear friends!The Children's Choir of TV & Radio of St.-Petersburg is the oldest children radio choir in Russia. It was formed in 1955. In the course of these years tremendous phonographic collection of musical works of different epochs, styles & genres was created. Records of the Children's Choir of TV & Radio of ST.-Petersburg are widely known abroad due to several CDs released in recent years. All this was possible owing to the fine recording studio of the "Radio House" in St.-Petersburg. Unfortunately, at the moment this studio is reorganized and doesn't exist as a phonographic studio. In this case the choir faces not only the problem of phonographic funds renewing. The absence of regular practice of working over the microphone may negatively influence the professional level of the group (the choir is the winner of various international competitions, its work is well-known in Europe, the USA & Japan). The problem of high-quality recording may be solved by obtaining appropriate technical devices, which will allow the realization of out-of-studio recording (in concert halls, churches, museums, etc). The acquisition of such devices demands expenses, which the Children's Choir can't afford itself. Consequently, we appeal to you with a request to consider the problem of assistance in obtaining audio devices. That would contribute to presentation improvement of high professional level of choir considerably. In this turn, the information about organizations and private persons helped with this matter may be distributed in all kinds of printed issues connected with the activities of the choir (concert playbills, posters and the booklets of the choir, CDs inserts, etc), in newspapers and magazines' articles, in advertisements during the concerts and broadcast programs with the participation of the choir.
